PixCell HemoScreen
Also known as PixCell Medical HemoScreen.
ConnectivityWise puts every HemoScreen result in your EHR the moment the run finishes and tells your staff it's ready. One simple price per location covers it, along with every other instrument you run.
Tests the HemoScreen runs
We'll confirm which of these your HemoScreen is configured to run during implementation.
About the HemoScreen Hematology Analyzer
The HemoScreen is a portable, cartridge-based hematology instrument that reports a quantitative complete blood count with a 5-part leukocyte differential from a single drop of capillary or venous whole blood in about five minutes. It uses PixCell's AI-assisted Viscoelastic Focusing (VEF) technology on a lab-on-a-cartridge that carries all reagents on board, so the instrument needs no maintenance or calibration and is fully portable. In the US, training requirements are those defined for CLIA moderate-complexity devices. Learn more about the instrument at the manufacturer's product page.
Why practices connect the HemoScreen
Five minutes and a fingerstick gets you a five-part differential wherever the patient is, but only if the result travels with them. Automatic delivery puts the count in the chart the moment the cartridge finishes and notifies your staff, instead of leaving twenty parameters on a portable screen for someone to key in later.
Send HemoScreen results to your EHR
Results from the HemoScreen file into whichever EHR you run, matched to the order where you use one. We connect to any EHR or EMR that accepts results.
HemoScreen connectivity questions
Can the HemoScreen connect to my EHR?
Yes. ConnectivityWise interfaces the PixCell HemoScreen and posts its results into your EHR automatically, matched to the order where you use one, or filed directly where you don't. Nobody retypes a value.
Which EHRs can the HemoScreen send results to?
Any EHR or EMR that accepts results, including Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Oracle Health, Greenway, and PointClickCare. Automatic result upload works with any order and results workflow.
Does quality control from the HemoScreen get captured?
ConnectivityWise captures quality control results alongside patient results, so your CLIA records are complete when an inspector asks. What a given instrument reports varies by device, so we confirm exactly what your HemoScreen emits during implementation.
What does it take to connect a HemoScreen?
The Data Sync Agent, one small install on any Windows computer in your organization, collects results from the instrument and syncs them securely to the ConnectivityWise cloud. A single installation covers every instrument and location you have, and a named human guides the setup and validation end to end.
