About the EasyOne Air Spirometer

The EasyOne Air is a handheld diagnostic spirometer that works both as a portable device with its own color touchscreen and as a PC spirometer. It measures airflow with ndd's TrueFlow ultrasonic transit-time sensor, which ndd states requires no calibration over the life of the device. It reports the standard forced-spirometry parameters (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, PEF and the FEF flows) for patients aged four and up, stores more than 10,000 tests onboard, and runs about 100 tests per battery charge. ndd publishes flow accuracy of ±2% and volume accuracy of ±2%, and the device supports the ATS/ERS 2019 spirometry standard. Learn more about the instrument at the manufacturer's product page.

Why practices connect the EasyOne Air

A spirometry maneuver is only useful to the clinician if it reaches the chart. Connecting the EasyOne Air means FEV1, FVC and the rest of the test land in the patient record as soon as the run is accepted, with no numbers retyped off the screen and no printout to scan. Staff get notified when the result is in, and visit-to-visit trending stays intact.

EasyOne Air connectivity questions

Can the EasyOne Air connect to my EHR?

Yes. ConnectivityWise interfaces the ndd EasyOne Air and posts its results into your EHR automatically, matched to the order where you use one, or filed directly where you don't. Nobody retypes a value.

Which EHRs can the EasyOne Air send results to?

Any EHR or EMR that accepts results, including Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Oracle Health, Greenway, and PointClickCare. Automatic result upload works with any order and results workflow.

Does quality control from the EasyOne Air get captured?

ConnectivityWise captures quality control results alongside patient results, so your CLIA records are complete when an inspector asks. What a given instrument reports varies by device, so we confirm exactly what your EasyOne Air emits during implementation.

What does it take to connect a EasyOne Air?

The Data Sync Agent, one small install on any Windows computer in your organization, collects results from the instrument and syncs them securely to the ConnectivityWise cloud. A single installation covers every instrument and location you have, and a named human guides the setup and validation end to end.
