About the microINR Expert Meter
The microINR Expert is a professional, CLIA-waived PT/INR coagulometer for near-patient monitoring of patients on oral anticoagulation therapy. It determines prothrombin time from a fingerstick capillary sample applied to a single-use microfluidic chip, with fully automatic lot calibration, and displays the INR result in a few seconds. The meter has a 3.5-inch touchscreen, an integrated 1D/2D barcode reader, a rechargeable battery, memory for up to 2,000 patient assays, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy and Ethernet connectivity. Learn more about the instrument at the manufacturer's product page.
Why practices connect the microINR Expert
INR drives a dosing decision, so it needs to be in the chart before the patient leaves, not transcribed later from a printout. Connecting the microINR Expert means the result reaches the patient record automatically the moment the test finishes, with the operator and patient ID already attached and staff notified, so nothing is retyped and nothing goes missing between the meter and the EHR.

microINR Expert connectivity questions
Can the microINR Expert connect to my EHR?
Yes. ConnectivityWise interfaces the iLine Microsystems microINR Expert and posts its results into your EHR automatically, matched to the order where you use one, or filed directly where you don't. Nobody retypes a value.
Which EHRs can the microINR Expert send results to?
Any EHR or EMR that accepts results, including Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Oracle Health, Greenway, and PointClickCare. Automatic result upload works with any order and results workflow.
Does quality control from the microINR Expert get captured?
ConnectivityWise captures quality control results alongside patient results, so your CLIA records are complete when an inspector asks. What a given instrument reports varies by device, so we confirm exactly what your microINR Expert emits during implementation.
What does it take to connect a microINR Expert?
The Data Sync Agent, one small install on any Windows computer in your organization, collects results from the instrument and syncs them securely to the ConnectivityWise cloud. A single installation covers every instrument and location you have, and a named human guides the setup and validation end to end.
