About the Uri-Trak 120M Urine Analyzer
The Uri-Trak 120 is a semi-automated urinalysis instrument that reads EKF's Uri-Chek 10SG urinalysis reagent strips by reflectance photometry, using photosensitive diode detection at 525 nm and 635 nm. EKF lists eleven readable parameters: glucose, bilirubin, ketone (acetoacetic acid), specific gravity, pH, blood, protein, urobilinogen, leukocytes, ascorbic acid, and nitrite, across 15 test combinations. It calibrates before each test, runs 60 tests per hour in single-test mode and up to 120 per hour in continuous mode, and needs a one-minute strip incubation. Results print to a built-in thermal printer, up to 2,000 are stored, and data moves out over USB or RS232C. EKF states the instrument is 510(k) cleared and CLIA waived. Learn more about the instrument at the manufacturer's product page.
Why practices connect the Uri-Trak 120
Eleven parameters read off a strip in about a minute, then a queue of printouts waiting to be typed up. Routing the Uri-Trak's results to the chart automatically closes that gap: the values land in the patient's record as the strip is read, and staff are notified rather than chasing paper.

Uri-Trak 120 connectivity questions
Can the Uri-Trak 120 connect to my EHR?
Yes. ConnectivityWise interfaces the EKF Diagnostics Uri-Trak 120 and posts its results into your EHR automatically, matched to the order where you use one, or filed directly where you don't. Nobody retypes a value.
Which EHRs can the Uri-Trak 120 send results to?
Any EHR or EMR that accepts results, including Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Oracle Health, Greenway, and PointClickCare. Automatic result upload works with any order and results workflow.
Does quality control from the Uri-Trak 120 get captured?
ConnectivityWise captures quality control results alongside patient results, so your CLIA records are complete when an inspector asks. What a given instrument reports varies by device, so we confirm exactly what your Uri-Trak 120 emits during implementation.
What does it take to connect a Uri-Trak 120?
The Data Sync Agent, one small install on any Windows computer in your organization, collects results from the instrument and syncs them securely to the ConnectivityWise cloud. A single installation covers every instrument and location you have, and a named human guides the setup and validation end to end.
