About the Abacus 3CP Hematology Analyzer
The Abacus 3CP (Abacus 3 Cap Piercer) is a fully automated bench-top hematology cell counter that reports a 16-parameter complete blood count with a 3-part white cell differential. It counts cells by the impedance method and measures hemoglobin photometrically, using 100 µL of K3EDTA anticoagulated venous whole blood and processing up to 60 samples per hour. The instrument runs in both open-tube and closed-tube (cap-piercing) sample modes, which suits small laboratories, satellite clinics, and physician office labs.
