About the CLC800 Clinical Chemistry Analyzer

The CLC800 is a floor-standing clinical chemistry instrument in Carolina Liquid Chemistries' CLC6410 family, aimed at small and mid-sized laboratories. It is a discrete, random-access system with batch and STAT capability that processes up to 400 photometric tests per hour and accepts barcoded sample tubes. Two reagent compartments hold 88 reagent positions plus 2 pre-treatment positions and accept one-part, two-part, and up to four-part reagents, while a refrigerated multi-function sample wheel carries 115 sample positions. Carolina Liquid Chemistries publishes a menu of CLIA moderate-complexity reagents for the instrument covering liver, kidney, lipid, electrolyte, and cardiac chemistries. Learn more about the instrument at the manufacturer's product page.

Why practices connect the CLC800

A mid-volume instrument running 400 tests an hour produces far more results than anyone should be moving by hand. Sending them straight to the chart means each result is filed against the right patient as it is released and your staff is notified. No batch re-keying, no transcription errors buried in a long worklist.

Send CLC800 results to your EHR

Results from the CLC800 file into whichever EHR you run, matched to the order where you use one. We connect to any EHR or EMR that accepts results.

CLC800 connectivity questions

Can the CLC800 connect to my EHR?

Yes. ConnectivityWise interfaces the Carolina Liquid Chemistries CLC800 and posts its results into your EHR automatically, matched to the order where you use one, or filed directly where you don't. Nobody retypes a value.

Which EHRs can the CLC800 send results to?

Any EHR or EMR that accepts results, including Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Oracle Health, Greenway, and PointClickCare. Automatic result upload works with any order and results workflow.

Does quality control from the CLC800 get captured?

ConnectivityWise captures quality control results alongside patient results, so your CLIA records are complete when an inspector asks. What a given instrument reports varies by device, so we confirm exactly what your CLC800 emits during implementation.

What does it take to connect a CLC800?

The Data Sync Agent, one small install on any Windows computer in your organization, collects results from the instrument and syncs them securely to the ConnectivityWise cloud. A single installation covers every instrument and location you have, and a named human guides the setup and validation end to end.
