About the BIOFIRE SPOTFIRE System
The BIOFIRE SPOTFIRE System is a compact multiplex PCR platform designed for decentralized, point-of-care settings. It runs the SPOTFIRE Respiratory/Sore Throat Panel, which tests for up to 15 pathogens across separate respiratory and sore throat menus, and the R/ST Panel Mini, which covers up to 5 targets on each menu. Results come back in about 15 minutes with 1-2 minutes of hands-on time, and the system scales up to four modules vertically so up to four tests can run at once.
