The CELL-DYN Emerald 22 is a low-volume hematology instrument for smaller clinical laboratories, and one of the smallest 5-part differential instruments Abbott offers. Unlike the 3-part CELL-DYN Emerald, its flow cell design, LED light source and optical bench produce a true five-part white cell differential, reporting 22 parameters in total across white cells, red cells and platelets.
